ROCK & FOLK

This French cartoon strip was originally published in 'Rock & Folk' magazine, November (?) 1971, and kindly provided by Thierry Caradec. The camp-organiser has a 'terrific idea', before leading the children in a song which translates roughly as follows:

Pure and insubstantial flame
Climbs towards the starry vault
In a night full of mystery
By the fine summer sky's moonlight.

.... before finally declaring that "This pop music thing is a total bastard."
